Recommended is 1 tbsp (4g) for 8 oz of water. Experiment with the tea-to-water ratio to match your preference. Typical Genmaicha is blended with sencha green tea. However, this Genmaicha is pure roasted brown rice so it's naturally Caffeine Free.

You can re-steep it up to 2 times depending on your taste preference. Slightly increase the water temperature with each successive steeping for best results. Get about ~25 cups from one tea tin, potentially more since it can be resteeped.

You can find the best-before date on the kraft paper pouch located inside the airtight tea tin where the tea is packaged.

Genmaicha Brown Mochi Rice tea is perfect for cold brewing! You can steep it in the fridge overnight. For a bolder flavor, try steeping it in hot water first, then refrigerate it overnight. Afterward, it can be stored for up to 3 days in the fridge.

Genmaicha is made with roasted brown mochi rice that is naturally gluten-free. The facility processes does not process wheat or barley. It is made of Plain, Organic brown mochi rice grown in Hokkaido, Japan, roasted to perfection.
